PAID REMOTE INTERNSHIP : Institute for Human Rights and Business (IHRB) searching for Junior Researcher to assist its Just Transitions programmes

A vibrant junior researcher is needed for the inaugural placement of a new six-month paid work experience programme, which is being offered by the Institute for Human Rights and Business (IHRB) to assist its Just Transitions programmes.

The program's multi-year policy-influencing and ecosystem-building research projects will be greatly aided by the Just Transitions Junior Researcher intern. Junior Researchers must possess strong research skills, attention to detail, multitasking abilities, and the capacity to operate independently in a remote work environment. They will assist with administrative and research activities across the program's different projects. Along with a clear willingness to learn, flexibility, and a constructive attitude to problem resolution, the ideal applicant is enthusiastic about achieving human rights and climate justice.

With the help of stakeholder mapping, event planning, desk research, and messaging material development, the Just Transitions Researcher will assist the Just Transitions Programme Manager and project teams. In addition, they will help with event planning and communication, as well as stakeholder mapping and interviews.

Along with attending internal management meetings, the researcher will have the opportunity to network with IHRB staff and partners and obtain insights on business and human rights concerns. Developing collaboration, encouraging sustainable business practices, and guaranteeing responsible corporate climate action are among their duties.

The deadline for applications is July 14th, 2024. Shortlisted applicants will be invited for a 30-45 minute video interview via TeamTailor. Interviews will be held on July 22-24, 2024. Start date is August 2024.
