Applications are now open for the Asia House Fellowship Programme 2026/2027, a competitive research fellowship designed for early-career professionals seeking to contribute to global policy and business conversations focused on Asia and the Middle East.
Now in its fifth year, the Fellowship reflects Asia House’s commitment to strengthening relations between Asia, the Middle East, and Europe through evidence-based research and engagement with senior decision-makers. Two Fellowship positions are available for the 2026/2027 cycle.
About the Fellowship
Each Fellow will undertake an independent research project over 12 months examining an issue shaping political, economic, or technological change across Asia and/or the Middle East. Research outputs will be published and circulated by Asia House to its international network of policymakers, business leaders, and technology experts, and will inform Asia House’s wider programme of engagement.
Proposed research should be original, practical, and aimed at addressing real-world challenges faced by senior leaders.

The Fellowship is open to all nationalities, can be completed remotely, and is intended for individuals in the early stages of their careers.
- Be fluent in written and spoken English
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of political, economic, or commercial issues affecting Asia and/or the Middle East
- Show evidence of initiative, independence, and leadership potential
