The Resilience Project (TRP) is on the lookout for a dynamic Chief Executive Officer to spearhead its next growth phase, transitioning from a start-up to a global leader. Role Snapshot

•Job Title: Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

•Working Hours: 4 days a week, 9:00 - 17:30 (UK time) with a 1-hour lunch break

•Location: Fully remote with quarterly retreats in Europe and speaking engagements

•Start Date: September 2025 (or sooner, depending on availability)

Your Impact as CEO

1. Strategic Leadership

•Shape and implement long-term strategies that drive TRP’s mission of resilience-building and climate justice.

•Lead efforts to diversify income streams through creative funding approaches and partnerships.

•Embrace and embody TRP’s core values: care, courage, community, co-design, inclusivity, and joy.

2. Team Development

•Build and nurture a diverse, high-performing team of staff and volunteers.

•Foster a collaborative and inclusive workplace culture that empowers every team member.

3. Financial Sustainability

•Develop sustainable budgets and ensure smooth cash flow.

•Drive the creation of new revenue streams, including partnerships, grants, and community funding.

4. Program Development

•Oversee TRP’s impactful programs, such as the Resilience Fellowship and youth workshops.

•Expand internationally with a focus on inclusion, risk assessment, and co-design principles.

•Continuously assess and improve program delivery for quality and relevance.

5. Partnerships and Advocacy

•Act as the public face of TRP, representing the organization on national and global platforms.

•Cultivate meaningful relationships with funders, partners, and youth groups to grow the organization’s reach.

6. Communications and Marketing

•Lead the development of an engaging communications strategy to amplify TRP’s visibility.

•Inspire new audiences and maintain strong connections with TRP’s growing community.

7. Line Management

•Provide hands-on management and monthly well-being check-ins for senior team members overseeing finance, fundraising, and marketing.

What We’re Looking For

Essential Qualities

•Proven leadership experience in the non-profit, social enterprise, or environmental sectors.

•Expertise in strategic planning and organizational management.

•Strong fundraising and financial management skills, with experience building sustainable income streams.

•Deep understanding of youth climate justice movements, mental health challenges, and youth empowerment.

•Exceptional communication skills to inspire a wide range of stakeholders.

•Commitment to TRP’s values of inclusion, social justice, and care.

Desirable Qualities

•Familiarity with the global philanthropy and funding landscape.

•Experience developing revenue models outside of traditional grant funding.

•Knowledge of scaling organizations and international operations.

•Comfort with digital platforms like Asana, Typeform, Airtable, and Google Workspace.
