The IB Youth Advisory Council (YAC) is a newly established initiative designed to ensure that IB students are acknowledged, represented, and provided with a direct platform to communicate their feedback to the IB.

The program seeks innovative, proactive, and collaborative individuals who are committed to amplifying the voices of IB students worldwide and contributing to the development of impactful, long-term solutions.

Candidate Qualifications

Ideal candidates should:

• Clearly and passionately express their motivation for joining the YAC.
• Demonstrate leadership, community engagement, or advocacy through previous experiences.
• Possess a strong understanding of how student participation can improve engagement and contribute to a more enriching IB experience for future students.
• Exhibit originality, creativity, and initiative in problem-solving.
