With a £35K grant fund & a fully funded trip to London : Apply for the Commonwealth Startup Fellowship

The Commonwealth Startup Fellowship (CSF) is currently accepting applications for its six-month program, created to support and accelerate emerging startups with strong growth potential from low- and middle-income countries within the Commonwealth.

This six-month initiative aims to accelerate the growth of promising startups by combining immersive in-person sessions with dynamic online learning. Participants will develop critical business skills, receive customized mentorship, and connect with an influential international network to help navigate challenges and expand their ventures.

Each chosen startup will have one founder attend the in-person component, while co-founders and team members can engage remotely, gaining insights from seasoned mentors and professionals across the Commonwealth.

Top-performing teams will be invited to a final showcase event in London, UK, where they’ll have the opportunity to present their ventures to investors and key industry figures.

What You'll Gain from the Programme

By the conclusion of the programme, participants will be able to:

  • Strengthen and optimize business models, expand operations, apply lean methodologies, and craft go-to-market strategies for sustainable growth.
  • Discover and refine individual leadership approaches, improve team collaboration, bridge skill gaps, and foster inclusivity to build high-performing teams.
  • Navigate both local and international startup ecosystems, identify influential stakeholders, and build strategic partnerships to accelerate business growth.
  • Create impactful branding, implement effective sales tactics, and produce solid financial projections to meet business objectives and attract investment.
  • Develop personal and team resilience, manage stress, and nurture mental well-being while building a strong peer support network for long-term success.
  • Set clear objectives, track performance, and design practical strategies for continued personal and business development after the programme ends.
