Who is eligible to apply?
The program is guided by the principles of diversity in both background and geographic representation. Now entering its sixth year in 2024, the initiative is expanding its reach to include more participants from various sectors. Additionally, it is extending invitations for applications from three new emerging markets in the wind industry: China, the United Arab Emirates, and Saudi Arabia.
Advocating for diversity in developing nations and burgeoning markets is a fundamental tenet of the program. Prospective applicants must be citizens or residents of the following emerging markets for wind energy: Algeria, Argentina, Brazil, Chile, China, Colombia, Egypt, Ethiopia, India, Indonesia, Kenya, Mexico, Morocco, Philippines, Saudi Arabia, Senegal, South Africa, Thailand, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, and Vietnam.
