Fully Funded to Berlin, Germany : Check out the 2024 DAAD SBW Berlin Scholarship ( Undergraduate | Postgraduate | Masters ) 

Young, dedicated international students can now apply for the SBW Berlin Scholarships to pursue an apprenticeship or university degree in Berlin.

A limited number of applicants will receive support from the DAAD SBW Berlin Scholarship to cover living expenses, tuition, and fully furnished housing.

In exceptional circumstances, the scholarship can pay for a vocational programme in Potsdam or Berlin.

Details of the DAAD SBW Berlin Scholarship:
Young, gifted foreigners who have demonstrated a commitment to social responsibility through volunteer work in their native countries are supported by the SBW Berlin Scholarships.

All scholarship recipients at SBW Berlin are assisted in achieving their career objectives by means of networking with other organisations and subsequent job material preparation.

Furthermore, there should be close ties between all established social non-profit enterprises and the countries of origin of the scholarship recipients.

The application deadline is on a rolling basis.

Program Benefits
The scholarship recipients' necessary living expenses are paid for the SBW Berlin. A complete scholarship comprises:


a room in our communal student apartments in Berlin, with an annual cost of living allowance of €6,600

tuition costs plus a possible travel stipend for your trip to Berlin prior to the commencement of your studies and back home at the end of your courses.
The support will be given for a minimum of 30 days and a maximum of 48 months, based on how long studies in the field you have selected typically take.
Eligibility Criteria
The DAAD SBW Berlin Scholarships require applicants aged 18-30 to have non-profit experience, strong intention to work in their home country for 18 months after graduation, low net income, no first-degree family members in Germany, and average German grades of at least 2.0. Applications must be submitted before university enrollment or after obtaining a bachelor's degree.

Application Procedure
To apply for the DAAD SBW Berlin Scholarship, candidates must submit an application form, letter of motivation, curriculum vitae, net household income information, last school or university certificate, and highest academic degree. If available, additional documents like university entrance qualification, admission to Berlin or Potsdam, internationally recognized language certificate, previous work certificates, and university certificates are also required. Additional documents, such as letters of recommendation and net household income, are not mandatory.
