FULLY FUNDED TO USA : Apply for the 2024-25 LSX Focus Fellowship Program

Applications are being accepted for the innovative mid-career professional fellowship programme offered by the Learning Sciences Exchange (LSX). Through this programme, a varied range of people from different fields come together to work together on initiatives that encourage the dissemination of new knowledge and encourage constructive change in communities and schools.

The cohort for this year will concentrate on family and parent involvement in elementary and intermediate schools. Applications for the programme are welcome from citizens of the US, Mexico, and Canada.

Scheme of Work

Fellowship Teams: Three schools in Pennsylvania will have unique family involvement difficulties, which the fellows will work together to address in cross-sector projects. The selected schools are looking to build on their success with the Parents as Allies programme and have already experienced its benefits.
LSX Summit: Orientation and team development are the main goals of the program's two-day summit in Washington, DC.
Online Co-Design Sessions: To address the stated requirements of the partner schools, fellows will collaborate to co-design creative tools and approaches through monthly virtual meetings.
Visits to School Sites: In order to better understand the requirements of the partner schools, fellows will make site visits in March.
Project Execution: The principals of the schools will put the developed initiatives into action by May.
