In person-Internship to support the ACIAC Project in Beirut-Lebanon
obligations and liabilities
The intern's home base will be in Lebanon's Beirut. The following duties may be assigned to you while working under the direction of the Regional Chief Technical Advisor, Project Manager, or his/her chosen representative(s):
Research and write assignments as needed on topics related to trends and advancements in democratic government, rule of law, and anti-corruption in the Arab world.
Help with the evaluation, translation, and editing of documents created within the project's parameters.
Help in communicating with partners, beneficiaries, and other stakeholders about the project.
Provide support for the planning of project activities, such as creating participant biographies and lists and provide logistical support on-site.
Project Analyst - International Law, NPSA-9, DS - Kyiv
obligations and liabilities
The Project Analyst - International Law will work closely with the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration (DPMO) to accomplish the following major duties:
Coordination and support for analytical advice
giving the DPMO technical guidance on how to apply pertinent FoC regulations.
supporting, guiding, and offering the DPMO suggestions on how to make legal acts even better so that national legislation is harmonised with international criminal and humanitarian normative frameworks and aligned with global standards for the prevention of and response to the CRSV.
keeping in regular contact on legislative review and reform with the Office of the SRSG-SVC and the Team of Experts.
evaluating the effects and advising the DPMO on potential tactics, policies, and other actions to deal with pressing challenges and further specified goals.
provide guidance on international standards and comparative practices in the investigation and prosecution of CRSV, as well as designing policies and strategies in this regard.
assisting the DPMO in coordinating the creation and reinforcement of the national legal and policy framework in order to prevent and counteract the CRSV and put it into effect.
