Applications are now invited for the Camargo Foundation's prestigious Core Fellowship Program, offering a unique opportunity for individuals or teams to engage in a 10-week residency in a serene and inspiring environment. For the upcoming 2025-2026 cycle, 14 exceptional candidates will be selected to join this esteemed community of scholars, thinkers, and artists.
Eligibility criteria:
- Scholars: PhD holders or PhD candidates in the Arts and Humanities, focusing on French and Francophone cultures or cross-cultural studies related to the Mediterranean region.
- Thinkers: Accomplished professionals in cultural and creative fields, demonstrating critical thought and reflections contributing to equitable transitions and plural subjectivities.
- Artists: Established artists with a minimum 5-year practice, seeking a research-based residency to develop new work or projects.
Residency details:
- Duration: 10 weeks
- Dates: Fall 2025 (September 10 - November 19) or Spring 2026 (February 24 - May 5)
- Number of fellowships: 14 (7 artists and 7 scholars & thinkers)
- Stipend: EUR 350 per week (EUR 3500 total)
- Transportation: Basic travel costs covered
