The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is offering a last-minute chance for young Africans to participate in the upcoming Africana Group of Negotiators (AGN) position paper development meeting in Nairobi, Kenya, from August 14-16. Selected participants will receive support for travel, accommodation, food, and daily subsistence allowance (DSA).
To be considered, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be a youth under 35 years old,
- Be from an African country
- Have knowledge of climate-related topics, including climate finance, adaptation, agriculture, loss and damage, mitigation, global stocktake, just transition, response planning, Article 6, gender, transparency, technology transfer, and human mobility
- Have experience in climate negotiations (highly valued)
