FULLY FUNDED TO GHANA: Apply for the YALI West Africa Cohort 51 now
The Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI), a US government-backed program, aims to cultivate the next generation of African leaders. With over 70% of Africa's population under 35, it's crucial to develop strong leadership skills in young individuals who will shape the continent's future. YALI offers three programs: the Mandela Washington Fellowship, YALI Network, and Regional Leadership Centers across Africa, including the Accra RLC at GIMPA.
The Accra RLC provides two programs: Emerging Leaders (17-week curriculum, mentorship, internships, and community service) and Executive Leadership for experienced leaders. Participants can choose from tracks like Business and Entrepreneurship, Civil Society Management, and Public Policy and Management. Upon completion, they receive a certificate and join the YALI Alumni network.
YALI promotes inclusive leadership development, welcoming applicants from diverse backgrounds without discrimination. Eligible candidates are 18-35 years old, proficient in English, and eligible for a Ghanaian visa, hailing from countries like Ghana, Nigeria, Togo, Ivory Coast, and Cameroon.
