The UN Decade Coordinator invites passionate individuals to apply for the Youth Task Force, ensuring young people's meaningful involvement in the UN Decade on Ecosystem Restoration. This initiative aligns with the UN Youth 2030 Strategy, emphasizing engagement with and for young people.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to policy advocacy, advising FAO and UNEP
- Facilitate youth action, supporting and amplifying youth-led initiatives
- Foster knowledge exchange, creating a space for capacity building and insight sharing
*Membership Details:*
- Two-year term, with possible renewal
- Open to representatives from:
- UN process counterparts related to ecosystem restoration
- UN agency counterparts involved in the UN Decade
- Person-centric and minority youth stakeholder groups
- Publicly applied youth/youth groups
- UN Decade Advisory Group youth members (as deemed relevant)
