African Union – European Union (AU-EU) Youth Voices Lab is calling for applications for new Youth Advisory Board Members
*Call for Youth Advisory Board Members: Empowering Collective Action*
The African Union-European Union (AU-EU) Youth Voices Lab – Power of the Collective, a four-year initiative co-funded by the European Union and implemented by Oxfam, Restless Development, Search for Common Ground, Youthmakers Hub, and ComDev Africa, seeks passionate young advocates to join its Youth Advisory Board.
*Objective:*
Create a more youth-responsive and inclusive society by amplifying youth voices and perspectives in AU-EU partnerships.
*Eligibility Criteria:*
- Ages 15-35
- Resident in Burundi, Burkina Faso, Ghana, South Sudan, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Cameroon, Tunisia, or Belgium
- Working proficiency in English and/or French
- Active young advocate in a youth-led organization, collective, group, or movement
- Commitment to 3.5-year Youth Advisory Board term
- Willingness to collaborate in action-led activities during continental influencing spaces
*Responsibilities:*
1. Engage in online spaces (website, app, social media, webinars)
2. Participate in monthly online meetings and annual in-person gathering
3. Implement AU-EU Youth Voices Lab – Power of the Collective Action Plan
4. Contribute to ad-hoc issues and requests
5. Foster links with similar youth initiatives regionally, nationally, and internationally
6. Participate in capacity-building activities
7. Submit Activity Reports after external engagements
