 2.⁠ ⁠Academic Qualifications: Hold a Master's or PhD degree or be enrolled in a PhD program.
 3.⁠ ⁠Research Focus: Conduct research related to African studies, social sciences, or humanities.
 4.⁠ ⁠Language Proficiency: Demonstrate proficiency in English (written and spoken).
 5.⁠ ⁠Age Limit: Be below 40 years old (for Master's students) or 45 years old (for PhD students).
 6.⁠ ⁠Academic Achievements: Show academic excellence and achievements.
 7.⁠ ⁠Research Proposal: Submit a well-defined research proposal (max. 5 pages).
