Any application requesting a grant from the Fund in excess of the $25,000 threshold will be denied.
If there are additional funding sources, a project's overall budget may be larger, but the Fund will only grant up to $25,000.

The Fund is accepting grant applications from anyone directly interested in the conservation of species.
All applications have to be sent in English.
Submission of budgets must be made in US dollars.
Funding applications that are blatantly erroneous in their conservation status and lack rationale will not be entertained.
While the Fund generally favours funding programs that concentrate on a single species, it acknowledges that there are certain geographic and taxonomic situations where it makes more sense to combine many species together.
Please be aware that applications requesting more money than the maximum grant size, for projects involving non-threatened species, or with blatantly inaccurate conservation status will not be funded.
