The 29th Conference of the Parties (COP29), organized by the UNFCCC, marks a pivotal moment for global climate negotiations. This significant event brings together international leaders, experts, and civil society to explore solutions and take immediate action to address the climate crisis.

COP29 also provides a vital opportunity for young people to engage in the negotiation process and advocate for bold climate policies, emphasizing the importance of intergenerational equity.

YAS will select two delegations to represent the organization during the event. One delegation will participate from November 11 to 16, and the other from November 18 to 22.

As a member of the YAS delegation, you'll have the chance to observe COP proceedings, contribute to reporting on discussions, and create content to share outcomes with young people in Italy and beyond.
