EUNIC is a vibrant and international team of seven professionals who manage a global network of cultural institutes. They promote independence and autonomy, seeking an intern who is eager to learn and contribute. The working language in their Brussels office is English, and they are keen to welcome applicants who will enrich their team's diversity.

Internship Information

This position is for a full-time (38 hours per week) Communications and Programme Support intern at EUNIC's Brussels office. The internship will last for six months, starting on November 4, 2024. Interns will receive a monthly stipend of 1,200 EUR net, along with lunch vouchers and a city transportation card. The internship is offered under a ‘convention d’immersion professionnelle – contrat de stage.’

Key Responsibilities

As an intern, you will assist in developing communication strategies and social media content, contributing materials for their website, newsletters, and social channels. You’ll help design digital assets such as visuals, templates, and videos, and support the logistics for their annual jury meeting for EUNIC Cluster Fund projects. Additionally, you will contribute to organizing upcoming events, including regional seminars for EUNIC clusters, and maintain a database of key contacts to support their organizational development.

Skills and Competencies

The ideal candidate will be proactive, organized, and efficient. They should have a strong interest in international cultural relations and demonstrate intercultural communication skills. A minimum B2 level of proficiency in English is required (additional languages are an advantage). Applicants should also have experience in content creation and social media, and familiarity with design tools like Canva, Adobe, and InDesign, as well as basic photo and video editing abilities.
