Since its establishment in 2018, EAYP has directly worked with over 2,000 youth leaders and impacted more than 8.7 million indirectly.

It empowers young voices and facilitates meaningful discussions on key regional challenges through national initiatives like Town Hall Meetings, National Dialogues, and National Youth Parliaments, adopting an inclusive and grassroots approach to youth engagement.

In partnership with the East African Legislative Assembly (EALA), the East African Community (EAC), and other stakeholders, EAYP promotes cross-border collaboration and leadership development by providing a platform for young people to present their views and recommendations directly to key decision-makers, including MPs, EAC Ministers, and Heads of State.
