Fully-funded virtual program : Apply for the Ford Philanthropy Mobility Fellowship Program for Entrepreneurs

The Ford Philanthropy Mobility Fellowship, a rigorous venture and leadership development program, is currently accepting applications. Its goal is to enable entrepreneurs and community leaders with a focus on mobility and transportation to advance the mobility-based enterprises they are creating.

The goal of this fully financed online program is to give business owners the practical experience and fundamental knowledge they need to grow their enterprises, gain access to priceless networks and resources, and bring about revolutionary change in their local communities.

Dates and Details
Dates: February 27 to June 17, 2025 (16 weeks of programming).
Format: Weekly virtual workshops, with in-person gatherings and events when feasible. Sessions take place on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 8:30 am to 10:30 am Mountain Time.

Immersive Experience: The program begins with a 2-week virtual Immersive starting on February 27, 2025, requiring a commitment of approximately 10–15 hours per week. This immersive experience serves as the foundation for the Fellowship, setting the stage for a community-driven, cohort-based journey.

Basecamp: The Basecamp is a 1–3 day Impact Workshop held in each Fellow’s community. It provides an opportunity for Fellows to present their ventures, receive feedback, and expand their networks. Basecamps also allow participants to engage in hands-on exploration of social impact through entrepreneurship.

Venture Development Stipend: Fellows may receive up to $6,000 in venture development stipends based on their performance and the impact they make during the Fellowship.

Eligibility Criteria
This Fellowship is open to entrepreneurs or community leaders committed to creating sustainable, scalable impact in their communities, focusing on mobility, transportation, or accessibility. The fellowship targets those in the'missing middle' stage, those who have moved beyond prototyping but need support to grow. Ideal candidates have demonstrated impact in their communities and are in the Problem-Solution Fit or Product-Market Fit stages, with engaged customers and measurable outcomes in both impact and revenue.

Applicants must commit to the 16-week program, including a 2-week virtual immersive, and actively participate in the entire program. The program is centered around a strong sense of community and relies on active engagement and enthusiasm from all participants. Applicants are encouraged to apply in global locations such as Brazil, Germany, Mexico, Philippines, Spain, South Africa, Thailand, the United Kingdom (including Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland), and Vietnam.

The Fellowship seeks expert-guided entrepreneurial training, a community of entrepreneurs to provide feedback, and a wide-reaching mentorship network to enhance leadership abilities and the impact of the venture. The demographics are adults 18 or older.
