Established by the Dubai Future Foundation, the Dubai Foresight Awards were created to bring together the international foresight and futures-thinking community. These awards celebrate outstanding individuals, organizations, and teams that have made significant strides by developing and applying forward-thinking strategies, innovative methods, and foresight tools. Their contributions have helped shape and advance the global practice of strategic foresight.

Award Categories
Foresight Change Makers
Celebrating pioneers who have pushed the boundaries of futures thinking, this Award honours those who design and evolve transformative tools, frameworks, and methodologies—those shifting how the world anticipates and shapes what's ahead.
Foresight for People
For those turning vision into action, this Award recognises projects that use futures thinking to improve lives. Whether guiding policy, driving social change, or transforming institutions, this category celebrates foresight with a human heart—because the future needs foresight.
Foresight for the Planet
Honouring those safeguarding our shared future, this Award recognises individuals and teams leveraging foresight to protect nature, biodiversity, and climate resilience. Their work turns long-term thinking into ecological action.

In each award category, three finalists will be selected. Those chosen will receive:
An All-Expenses-Paid Trip to Dubai
Finalists will be invited to attend the Dubai Future Forum, with travel support provided. If the selected entry is a group effort, travel assistance will be offered to one representative only.
What Winners Receive
A Celebrated Award Moment
Winners will be honored at a formal ceremony, with awards presented by a respected leader either from Dubai or the global futures community.
Visibility and Recognition
Award recipients will be featured across the Dubai Future Forum’s platforms, including promotional content and social media outreach.
Exclusive Video Features
The Dubai Future Foundation will create a short documentary-style film about each winner and their work, highlighting the story behind the impact.
Involvement in 2026 Forum
Winners will also have the opportunity to participate in the next edition of the Dubai Future Forum, where they’ll be invited to speak or lead a session related to their work.

What You Can Submit
Submissions are welcome across a wide range of foresight-related work, including but not limited to:
Innovative methods and practical tools
Academic studies, reports, and articles
Public policies and strategic programs
Projects that actively engage local or global communities
Digital tools, platforms, or tech-driven solutions
Simulations, scenario-based games, or interactive formats
Visionary planning and long-term strategy development
Educational courses, learning modules, or training programs
Submission Guidelines
Minimum Age: Participants must be at least 18 years old.
Uniqueness: Make sure to highlight how your work offers fresh insights or a new approach within its field.
Visibility: Your work should have been shared publicly—implemented, published, or made accessible—within the past seven years.
Proven Impact: Share tangible results or measurable outcomes that demonstrate the influence of your project within the category it’s submitted under.
Language Requirement: Submissions must be in English.
Original Work Only: Entries must be your own creation, grounded in real experience or evidence, and must not involve AI-generated or plagiarized content.
Foresight Application: Make sure to clearly illustrate how you’ve used foresight tools, techniques, or frameworks in your work.
Finalist Participation: If chosen as a finalist, you must be available to travel to Dubai during the week of 17 November to attend the Dubai Future Forum.
