The Second African Climate Summit (ACS2), hosted by the Government of Ethiopia and the African Union Commission, will take place from 8–10 September 2025 in Addis Ababa. As part of its key outputs, the ACS2 Flagship Report will highlight transformative, African-driven climate efforts that are already making a difference on the ground.

This call is open to a diverse range of actors—from governments to community-led groups—who are advancing practical climate solutions across Africa.

What They’re Looking For:

Submissions should fall under one or more of the following focus areas:

• Nature-based solutions (e.g. restoration, reforestation, land and water conservation)

• Technology-driven responses (e.g. climate data tools, AI, digital innovations)

• Green growth (e.g. clean energy, sustainable industries, local value chains)

• Adaptation and resilience (e.g. food and water systems, climate-health integration)

• Just transitions (e.g. social inclusion, jobs, climate migration)

• Regional cooperation (e.g. multi-country projects, policy alignment)
