ActNowFilm is on the lookout for dynamic content creators aged 18 to 35 who are passionate about youth-driven stories. The role involves producing, filming, and editing compelling short videos for social media that showcase the inspiring journeys of young climate activists. These stories aim to motivate global audiences as we approach and cover COP30.

The deadline to submit proposals is noon on September 5, 2025. Detailed guidelines and submission instructions are provided in the accompanying documents.

The project requires the creation of five individual reels, each between 30 and 50 seconds long. These videos should share a consistent style in both editing and presentation, allowing them to be combined smoothly into a longer piece in future projects. The content must deliver powerful narratives that reflect ActNowFilm’s mission: to advocate for meaningful youth involvement in global climate policy and to tell authentic stories about how young leaders overcome personal and systemic obstacles to push for climate solutions both locally and worldwide. These stories serve to validate youth expertise and inspire audiences across various social media channels.

Filmmakers will focus on capturing and crafting stories from young climate advocates around the world, with special attention to voices from the Global South to ensure genuine representation. One of the reels will feature Brazilian youth leaders, emphasizing the importance of COP30 for Brazil and highlighting the climate initiatives led by young people there.

Each video will be crafted around monthly themes—Health in September and Biodiversity in October—to add focus and depth to the storytelling. The narratives should follow a classic hero’s journey arc, showcasing the growth, struggles, and victories of these young climate champions. The reels should present these activists as relatable and inspiring role models whose stories resonate deeply with youth audiences worldwide.
