Applications are open for the Female Funding Fit Programme, an initiative led by WomHub in partnership with the French Embassy in South Africa, Lesotho, and Malawi, aimed at empowering women-led, tech-enabled businesses in South Africa. This programme focuses on supporting female entrepreneurs to grow, scale, and attract investment, providing a platform to showcase their ventures, expand their reach across borders, and access strategic growth opportunities. Its goal is to help women founders overcome obstacles to business expansion through targeted training, which is then complemented by connections to networks, ecosystems, and practical tools for investment readiness.

Participants in the programme will engage in a wide range of development experiences, including specialized learning sessions, mentorship, networking, and exposure to potential funding sources. They will gain access to a supportive community of like-minded entrepreneurs while building the skills needed to approach investors and form strategic collaborations. The programme equips founders with essential insights and resources to meet the demands of scaling a business and attracting capital.

Through this initiative, female entrepreneurs can receive €10,000 in catalytic funding and participate in a six-month accelerator designed to strengthen investment readiness. They will benefit from personal development assessments, one-on-one mentoring, and financial coaching. Participants also gain access to WomHub’s innovation spaces in Johannesburg, Cape Town, and East London, along with opportunities to connect with investors and potential partners, helping them secure funding and grow their businesses.
