Take part in the AU-EU Youth Voices Lab and explore the influence of young people in shaping the future of Africa-Europe cooperation. This call is open to youth who wish to engage in the Youth Dialogues on the EU-AU partnership, featuring two online sessions scheduled for 3 October and 17 October. Selected participants will have the opportunity to discuss and develop ideas around the four central areas of the AU-EU collaboration: peace, security and governance; multilateral cooperation; migration, mobility and people-centered approaches; and sustainable prosperity including climate, energy, digital innovation, and transportation. Participants will work together to produce recommendations and receive guidance to strategically engage with decision-makers in preparation for the 7th AU-EU Summit in Luanda, Angola, set for November 2025.

Applications must be submitted by 15 September 2025 at 18:00 CET. Eligible candidates should be between 15 and 35 years old and reside in either Africa or a European Union Member State. Applicants should demonstrate a clear understanding of, or strong interest in, the AU-EU partnership and at least one of the thematic areas. Commitment to attend both online events and active participation in follow-up advocacy is essential. Candidates should be able to communicate effectively in English and/or French and show leadership through involvement in a youth organization, community initiative, movement, or coalition. Youth representing perspectives that are often underrepresented are strongly encouraged to apply. The selection process aims to ensure diversity and inclusiveness, considering gender balance, geographic representation, diaspora or displaced youth, and those experiencing social or economic marginalization.
