Applications are open for the Les Mesnographies Photography Festival 2026 (Edition #6), a unique non-profit, free, and non-competitive outdoor festival in France. This international festival provides a creative platform for photographers to exhibit their work in a natural setting, making powerful visual stories accessible to a wide audience. For the 2026 edition, artists are invited to submit photographic series addressing the deeply sensitive and often silenced subject of incest, encouraging conversations that society tends to avoid but can no longer ignore.

Program Benefits

Selected photographers will have their work exhibited from 6 June to 19 July 2026 at Parc des Mesnuls in France. The festival covers the full cost of production, including large-format printing and installation. In addition, each chosen artist will receive €300 in author’s rights as an honorarium. The festival will host selected photographers for three days during the opening weekend, providing accommodation in the village. However, travel costs remain the responsibility of the artist. This opportunity offers international exposure, professional recognition, and a platform to contribute to urgent social dialogue through art.

Eligibility Criteria

This call is open to photographers worldwide, regardless of age, nationality, or career stage. Both emerging and established artists are encouraged to apply. Submissions must include up to 20 images, a text describing the series, and a biography of the artist. Because the exhibition takes place outdoors in a public park visited by families and children, artists are urged to balance artistic depth with sensitivity and accessibility when presenting the theme.
