Applications are open for the Arab Youth Council for Climate Change (AYCCC) Ambassadors Program, an initiative under the Arab Youth Center. The program is designed to appoint youth representatives in different Arab countries who will serve as the Council’s voice and presence on the ground. These ambassadors will play a crucial role in advancing climate action, strengthening the work of the Council, and representing both the AYCCC and the Arab Youth Center at national and international levels.

The program is open to young people between the ages of 18 and 35 who are passionate about environmental issues and eager to contribute their time and energy. Selected ambassadors are expected to dedicate an average of three to five hours each week, participate in scheduled events, and take part in regular monthly discussions. Their responsibilities include assisting AYCCC members, attending relevant conferences, engaging in advocacy efforts, and joining youth panels or dialogues whenever called upon.

Those chosen will gain access to mentorship, specialized training, and exclusive resources designed to strengthen their leadership in the climate space. They will also benefit from invitations to major youth events in the region, including platforms linked to COP gatherings. In addition, ambassadors will be recognized by the Arab Youth Center and become active participants in the wider Arab Youth Climate Network, enabling them to build meaningful connections across the region.

The duration of the ambassadorship is intentionally flexible, adapting to the Council’s evolving needs and activities. While some individuals may serve for only a few months, others may continue in the role for up to a year. Ambassadors are expected to stay actively engaged for as long as their contributions are valuable, allowing both the Council and its representatives to work together with openness and adaptability.
