Applications are open for the selection of new Global Focal Points under the UNCCD Youth Caucus. These positions aim to strengthen youth participation in advancing the global land restoration and sustainable development agenda through active policy engagement and advocacy.

The appointed individuals will serve as key coordinators in driving the Youth Caucus’s work across four main areas, including policy influence, capacity development, youth-led initiatives, and knowledge exchange. They will support the integration of young people’s voices and actions into international land-related processes.

This opportunity is intended for passionate and committed individuals with proven leadership abilities, strong communication skills, and experience in mobilizing youth networks at regional or global levels.

Nominations must be submitted by organizations accredited to the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD) Conference of the Parties. The deadline for submitting nominations is 29 October 2025 at 23:00 CET.
