Applications are open for the WWC Youth Delegate Program (2026–2028 Cohort). The World Water Council (WWC) is inviting dynamic and passionate young leaders from around the world to join the next generation of Youth Delegates dedicated to shaping the future of global water governance.

The program offers a unique opportunity for selected delegates to take an active role in international discussions, initiatives, and policies centered on water sustainability. Throughout the three-year mandate, the Youth Delegates will represent young voices in key global platforms and contribute directly to the preparations for the 11th World Water Forum, which will take place in Riyadh in 2027.

Those selected will engage in WWC meetings as observers, participate in thematic debates, and collaborate with the WWC Young Mission to design and implement impactful youth-led campaigns and activities. They will also work closely with regional youth networks to foster inclusion, innovation, and cross-regional partnerships within the water sector.

Applicants must be between 18 and 35 years old at the time of application and affiliated with an international organization, network, or initiative that addresses youth and water issues. Candidates should demonstrate strong English communication skills, a clear understanding of the WWC’s mission, and a proven track record in areas such as water governance, sustainable development, or youth advocacy. A commitment to fully engage in the three-year program from 2026 to 2028 is essential.
