Applications are open for the 2026 NEBOSH L’Oréal International Bursary Program, a fully funded initiative designed to support women who want to build or advance a career in health and safety. This bursary provides twenty fully paid places to study for the NEBOSH International General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety, a globally respected qualification that equips learners with practical skills to manage workplace risks, understand key international standards, and strengthen health and safety practices across work environments. The program includes live online lessons, networking opportunities with fellow bursary recipients, and a two-step assessment that combines an open-book exam with a practical risk assessment.

Eligibility Criteria
This bursary is aimed at women based outside the United Kingdom who aspire to work or advance in the health and safety profession. Applicants should be motivated to gain the NEBOSH International General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety—an internationally recognized qualification relevant to managers, supervisors, and professionals responsible for health and safety in the workplace. Study for the certificate is delivered through a live online format in English, and successful candidates are expected to complete a minimum of 65 taught hours, around 40 recommended self-study hours, plus additional tutor support. As part of the program, participants will also engage in networking with fellow recipients and attend virtual sessions that simulate a classroom learning environment.
