The TechForward Policy Fellowship, hosted by the Africa Center for Digital Transformation (ACDT), is a short-term policy leadership programme designed to equip young professionals from the Global South with the skills, networks, and practical exposure needed to influence technology-driven public policy.
As digital innovation continues to reshape economies and governance systems, the fellowship provides a space for emerging leaders to explore how technology can support inclusive growth, digital safety, and sustainable development. The programme brings together innovators, technologists, entrepreneurs, and policy-minded professionals to collaboratively shape future-ready digital policies rooted in local realities.
Policy Tracks
Applicants will select one thematic focus area during the application process:

Green and Digital Transition
Each track explores practical policy challenges and solutions relevant to emerging economies in the Global South.
Programme Format and Experience
The fellowship is delivered entirely online, allowing participants to engage from anywhere in the world. Fellows will take part in expert-led sessions, collaborative discussions, and applied policy learning designed to strengthen their ability to influence digital policy processes at national, regional, and global levels.
Participants also become part of a growing international network of young leaders working at the intersection of technology, policy, and inclusive development.
