Selected winners receive cash prizes, with USD 500 for the first-place winner, USD 400 for the second-place winner, and USD 300 for the popular vote winner. In addition to prize money, award-winning and shortlisted photographs are showcased at the GLF Africa 2026 hybrid conference and featured on the GLF’s digital platforms, such as online galleries, social media and partner events throughout the year. Winners may also receive editorial exposure in GLF’s ThinkLandscape magazine, enhancing international visibility for their work and storytelling.

This opportunity is open to individuals worldwide aged 18 years or older. Both professional and amateur photographers are welcome to participate. To qualify, all submitted photographs must be original works taken by the entrant and must not have previously won awards in other competitions. Entrants may submit up to three separate photographs, and each entry must include a title, a caption that clearly describes the subject and location of the image, and the photographer’s contact information. Participants must also agree to the competition’s terms and conditions and consent to the use of their images for promotional and exhibition purposes associated with the awards and the GLF. There are no restrictions based on nationality or region.
