Applications are open for the 2026 edition of Youth4Climate Call for Solutions, a global initiative led by United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the Government of Italy to support youth-led climate action around the world. The program provides direct catalytic funding of up to $30,000 for innovative climate projects that are ready for implementation or scaling.

Young climate leaders and youth-led organizations are invited to submit their solutions before 30 April 2026. In addition to financial support, selected applicants will gain access to technical guidance, mentorship, and global networks designed to strengthen impact and long-term sustainability. Applications are accepted in English, French, Spanish, and Portuguese, ensuring accessibility to diverse communities worldwide. Priority consideration will be given to young women and Indigenous youth-led organizations.

The call welcomes solutions across key thematic areas including sustainable energy, food and agriculture—particularly climate-resilient farming and smallholder support—climate, peace, and security, oceans and the blue economy, architecture for adaptation, and sustainable fashion and textiles. Since 2023, Youth4Climate has supported more than 150 youth-led projects across 59 countries, distributing over $4 million in funding to accelerate locally driven climate action.

Young people under the age of 30 who are leading climate initiatives, or collaborating with youth-led entities, are strongly encouraged to apply and turn their ideas into tangible climate impact.
