ONLINE TRAINING: Apply For The BIC Africa Online Training Programme 2026 for Women Entrepreneurs in Tanzania

Applications are open for the BIC Africa Online Training Programme for Women Entrepreneurs in Tanzania. This initiative is designed to strengthen the entrepreneurial capacity of women running businesses by providing them with practical knowledge, mentorship, and networking opportunities. The program supports women founders who want to grow and scale their businesses by equipping them with strategic tools, financial management knowledge, and market expansion strategies. 

The training programme will select around 20 women entrepreneurs from Tanzania and provide them with intensive online training and coaching sessions delivered by experienced entrepreneurship experts from Africa and Europe. The program runs for two weeks and includes six online sessions focused on core business topics such as business modelling, financial management, investment readiness, and leadership development. 

Participants will attend interactive sessions that combine training modules and group coaching to help them improve their businesses, refine their value propositions, and learn how to pitch effectively to investors or partners. The sessions are scheduled between 23 March and 2 April, with each session lasting approximately two hours.

Participants selected for the programme will receive free access to expert-led online training sessions covering essential entrepreneurial topics such as business model development, financial management, go-to-market strategies, and investment readiness. These sessions are designed to help entrepreneurs strengthen their business strategies and develop practical tools they can immediately apply to their companies. 

The programme also offers group coaching sessions where participants will receive guidance from experienced entrepreneurship professionals. These sessions focus on leadership development, storytelling, and pitching skills, enabling entrepreneurs to communicate their ideas effectively to investors and stakeholders. 

In addition, participants will gain access to networks of entrepreneurs and experts from Africa and Europe, allowing them to build valuable professional connections and explore potential partnerships. Entrepreneurs who successfully complete the programme and attend most sessions will receive a digital certificate of completion.
Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must be women entrepreneurs who are founders, co-founders, or CEOs of startups or companies based in Tanzania. Candidates must be at least 18 years old and actively involved in running their business to ensure that the knowledge gained during the programme directly benefits the company’s growth and development. 

The business must already be registered and generating revenue, demonstrating that it is operational and capable of scaling. Applicants should also have good English communication skills, as the entire programme will be conducted in English. In addition, businesses are expected to have some level of visibility, such as a website or active social media presence, and ideally should have been operating for at least one year with potential for growth.
