FULLY FUNDED: Apply For The Google EMEA Legal Summer Institute (LSI) 2026
The Google EMEA Legal Summer Institute (LSI) 2026 is a highly competitive and prestigious program designed for law students across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA). This initiative provides participants with a unique opportunity to gain hands-on legal experience by interning with one of Google’s partner law firms while also receiving direct exposure to in-house legal work at Google.
Through this program, selected students will experience the dynamic intersection of law and technology, gaining insights into how legal professionals operate within global tech companies. Participants will spend part of their internship working in private legal practice and also take part in a dedicated “Google Week,” where they attend career development workshops, networking sessions, and interactive discussions with top legal experts from Google.
The fellowship aims to broaden access to legal careers in the technology sector, especially for students who may have limited exposure to such opportunities, while promoting diversity and inclusion within the legal profession.

Additional Information
During the program, fellows will participate in a dedicated week hosted by Google, where they will engage in workshops, panel discussions, and networking sessions with experienced legal professionals and industry leaders. This exposure provides deep insights into the role of in-house lawyers in a global technology company.
In addition, participants will have access to an optional six-month mentorship program, where they are paired with a Google lawyer who provides personalized guidance, career advice, and professional development support. The internship component is also a paid opportunity, ensuring that students can fully participate without financial burden.
Candidates are required to have work authorization in the country where they intend to undertake their internship placement. Additionally, applicants must be comfortable working in English, as all program activities, including workshops and training sessions, are conducted in English.
