Awards of up to £50,000 : Apply for the Africa Prize for Engineering Innovation 2027
Applications are now open for the Africa Prize for Engineering Innovation 2027, the Royal Academy of Engineering's flagship entrepreneurship programme supporting engineering innovators across Africa.
The initiative is designed to help entrepreneurs transform engineering solutions into sustainable businesses that create social, environmental, and economic impact.
The programme will select 16 engineering entrepreneurs to participate in an intensive eight-month business acceleration programme, providing expert mentorship, commercialisation support, networking opportunities, and access to global industry leaders. Participants will also compete for awards of up to £50,000 to help scale their innovations.
