Applications are open for Young professionals and emerging leaders interested in sustainable energy, clean technology, and climate innovation to participate in the SDG7 Strategic Leadership Labs 2026, a new virtual mentorship initiative developed through a collaboration between the SDG7 Youth Constituency, Sustainable Energy for All (SEforALL), and the Renewable Africa Initiative (RAI).

The first session, Strategic Leadership Lab 1: Clean Tech Innovation, will bring together experts and participants for an interactive learning experience focused on the technologies and strategies shaping the future of sustainable energy.

Designed specifically for youth and early-career professionals, the program aims to strengthen technical knowledge, promote innovation, and provide participants with direct access to experienced mentors working across the clean energy sector.

• Emerging and digital clean technologies
• Climate impact analytics and digital literacy
• Advanced energy systems modeling
• Circular economy principles and resource efficiency

Interactive Mentorship Component

One of the highlights of the session is a live mentorship segment that will allow selected participants to present real-world challenges related to:

Expert mentors will provide practical feedback and recommendations that participants can apply within their own professional or academic contexts.
