Bertha Foundation is thrilled to announce the launch of the fifth Bertha Challenge by the Bertha Foundation.

This unique opportunity invites activists and investigative journalists to dedicate a year to tackle a pressing social justice issue and produce a substantial body of work by the end of the Fellowship.

Successful applicants will receive paid Fellowships and project budgets to work independently and collaboratively. Their main objectives will be to investigate the causes of and solutions to the specified challenge, amplify their findings to a targeted audience, and establish connections with diverse stakeholders for information, support, and impact.

The fifth Bertha Challenge, starting in January 2024, will focus on disinformation and the climate crisis. Applications will be open until July 4, 2023, and individuals who meet the selection criteria are encouraged to apply.
