The Africa Climate Summit, scheduled for 4-6 September 2023 in Nairobi, Kenya, will feature the Climate Action Innovation Hub, hosted by the African Union Commission. This dedicated space aims to showcase bold and innovative climate actions, led by women and youth, across the continent, aligning with the Africa Climate Change Strategy's ambitions and goals.

The Climate Action Innovation Hub provides an excellent opportunity for African innovators, especially women and youth, to present their game-changing climate-oriented solutions and initiatives, fostering a climate-resilient and sustainable Africa. This platform facilitates the exchange of ideas, lessons, and support from policymakers and potential investors.

Innovations and initiatives in clean energy, climate-smart agriculture, biodiversity conservation, and more, touching on themes within the Climate Strategy, will be considered for selection. Projects led by or directly benefiting women and youth, contributing to climate adaptation, emission reduction, or overall resilience, are encouraged to apply, with preference given to grassroots-level initiatives and socially inclusive projects.
