The Justus & Louise van Effen Excellence Scholarships at TU Delft provide opportunities for outstanding international applicants, generously funded by the legacy of Justus and Louise van Effen. Mr. van Effen, a TU Delft alum from the 1940s, held a strong belief in the power of technological advancements to address societal challenges. To uphold this vision, the Justus & Louise van Effen Foundation was established to encourage exceptional international MSc students and provide them with financial support to pursue their studies at TU Delft.

Eligibility Criteria:

- You must be an exceptional international applicant conditionally admitted to one of TU Delft's 2-year regular MSc programs (excluding Joint Education Programs).
- Your cumulative grade point average (GPA) should be 80 percent or higher of the maximum scale.
- You should hold a bachelor's degree from a globally recognized university outside of The Netherlands.
- Ensure you have submitted a complete MSc application before the scholarship deadline.

Scholarship Benefits:

- Scholarship recipients will be notified by TU Delft via email by the end of March 2024.
- Receiving the scholarship is contingent upon meeting all admission requirements.
- The scholarship covers full tuition fees per year for a TU Delft MSc program, based on either the statutory fee or institutional rate, depending on the registered nationality. Additionally, it includes a contribution for living expenses.

Application Procedure for the Justus & Louise van Effen Excellence Scholarships:

- All required documents must be submitted simultaneously with the MSc application.
- Complete your MSc application, ensuring that you meet the admission requirements.
- Upload the Scholarship Application Form.
- Upload two reference letters. You can upload these letters during your MSc application as a single PDF document, following the specified requirements.
- You may request the reference letters from your referees and provide their information in the application. They will receive an email invitation to upload the reference letters for you.
- You can use a combination of one upload and one referee request.
- Please note that reference letters will not be considered if submitted after the scholarship deadline.
- Upload the English language certificate (Non-EU/EFTA students must include their English test, if required, with their application).
