COP28 CASH PRIZES: CreateCOP28 is inviting creatives to submit work that generates conversations around the urgent need for climate action

CreateCOP28 invites individuals of all nationalities, races, genders, and faiths between the ages of 14 and 30 to submit their creative works. These works should spark conversations about the pressing need for climate action and increase awareness of the critical topics that should be addressed at COP28, the United Nations' annual climate summit.

Among the participants, eight finalists will receive cash prizes, with amounts of $10,000, $5,000, or $2,000. Additionally, a distinguished panel of judges, consisting of industry experts from around the world, will grant honorable mentions to 20 other creative individuals. Some of the works, both from past and current #CreateCop winners, will be showcased at our inaugural in-person exhibition hosted at the United Nations Headquarters in New York.

Eligibility Criteria

#CreateCOP28 extends a warm invitation to individuals from every corner of the globe and is committed to showcasing a broad spectrum of creative expressions.

We welcome applications from anyone aged 14 to 30, and we embrace a wide array of artistic mediums. Whether it's photography projects, documentary-style and experimental films, performance art, spoken word, musical compositions, fashion design, new media, or social media projects, all creative forms are encouraged and accepted.
