UP TO 10 GRANTS : ORCID is seeking applications for the Global Participation fund ranging US$5,000 to US$20,000 Each

Open Researcher and Contributor ID (ORCID) is accepting submissions for the Global involvement Fund to close gaps in ORCID involvement from organizations in the Global South, particularly in nations with low- and lower-middle-income economies.

ORCID is seeking submissions for the Global Involvement Fund to address gaps in its involvement in organizations in the Global South, particularly in low- and lower-middle-income nations.

ORCID aims to promote universal adoption of its research database, despite a lack of organizational membership in the Global South. The organization provides funds to develop ORCID Communities of Practice and enhance technical integrations, fostering understanding and use in local contexts, without requiring current ORCID members.

In order to financially assist regional partners in creating ORCID Communities of Practice and supporting regional outreach and training resources, the GPF will initially offer two grant programs for community creation and outreach.

Grants for Technical Integration assist in the creation of software for ORCID integrations in open-source systems, the enhancement of open-source components, libraries, and resources for participation in Focus Communities, and the provision of technical documentation, outreach, and support for these resources.

Application:

Only applications that adhere to the provided guidelines, including all required information submitted via the application form, will be considered.

Don't miss the application deadline, which is November 3, 2023.
