VLIR-UOS provides full Master's scholarships in Belgium for students from developing countries, with half of these scholarships reserved for African students. Priority is given to female applicants. The eligible Master's programs are taught in English.

Here are the requirements to apply for an ICP Connect scholarship:

- Nationality and Residence: Applicants must be nationals of one of the 29 eligible countries and reside in one of these countries at the time of application.

- Age: Applicants must not exceed 35 years for an initial master's or 45 years for an advanced master's by January 1 of the intake year.

- Professional Background: Preference is given to candidates employed in higher education, government, or civil society, or those aspiring to work in these sectors. Applicants from the private sector or recent graduates without work experience may be considered based on a strong motivation and profile.

- Scholarship Applications: Candidates can apply for only one ICP Connect scholarship per year and cannot receive any other scholarship or grant for this or any other program simultaneously.

- Previously Awarded Scholarships: Applicants should not have previously received a scholarship from the Belgian government for a study program and should not have enrolled in a study program at a Belgian higher education institution before January 1 of the intake year.
