Work from Home Opportunity: Become a Researcher at the International Institute for Environment and Development (IIED)

Applicants from outside the UK who do not want to move there must be able to work in the nation where they want to live, with a time difference of five hours (GMT/BST) or less from the UK.

About Us
A policy and action research institution, the International Institute for Environment and Development (IIED) links global concerns to local priorities and promotes sustainable development. Our headquarters are in London, and we work with some of the most vulnerable people on the planet on five continents to increase their voices in the arenas where decisions are made that impact them. For more than 50 years, IIED has been at the vanguard of evidence-based policymaking in sustainable development, with more than 150 staff members collaborating with partners and colleagues worldwide.

In low- and middle-income nations, our Human Settlements Group strives to promote more equitable and sustainable development in urban centres by addressing environmental concerns and urban poverty. The work of the Group focuses on integrated approaches to urban poverty and local environments, encompassing urbanisation, migration, displacement, and links between rural and urban areas, as well as urban risk and crisis response.

In order to prepare for the future, IIED is undergoing an exciting transformation, and we are looking for extraordinary, cooperative individuals to join us in this exciting journey.
