Aspiring journalists and researchers are invited to join the Al Jazeera Fellowship Programme 2024 to experience a life-changing career in journalism.

This exceptional opportunity enables participants to write a 7,000-word research paper that delves into certain areas of journalism. The Al Jazeera Media Network (AJMN) will provide the successful applicants with practical experience in addition to their contribution to the area.

Have experience with the AJMN team and networking opportunities with editors, journalists, and industry workers, the fellowship provides a 7,000-word research paper on journalism interests.

The fellowship offers a platform for people committed to promoting journalism and is available to full-time journalists and researchers with expertise in media or social science.

Two months are allotted for the program, which is split into two primary phases:

The first phase (remote) will involve the researchers working on and submitting an introduction to their research article as well as a research plan.
Phase 2 (at the Al Jazeera Media Network Headquarters): Fellows will carry out their study there up until the paper's final submission.

A PDF version of the applicant's resume, fellowship proposal, signed letter of commitment, work examples, and two recommendation letters are required; video and visual elements are not accepted.
