Job Opportunities : Check out the Japan's 2024 Specific Skilled Worker Program

To alleviate labor shortages, Japan is looking for "Specified Skilled Workers" (SSW) in 12 different fields. Introduced in 2019, this initiative presents a mutually beneficial scenario for both foreign laborer's and the Japanese economy.

Long-term stays and steady work are provided by the Japan Specified Skilled Worker Program, together with comprehensive advice on living in Japan, getting around, renting a home, and opening a bank account. Families are not permitted, though.

Candidates with experience in the top 12 in-demand fields—nursing care, building cleaning management, machine parts and tooling industries, construction, ship machinery, auto repair and maintenance, aviation, lodging, agriculture, fishery and aquaculture, food and beverage manufacturing, and the food service industry—are eligible to apply for the Specified Skilled Worker program.

Conditions
Currently, Japan Specified Skilled Workers (SSW) come in two varieties:

Type (i): Emphasises general knowledge and abilities in a given industry.
Lower proficiency in Japanese language (JLPT N4 or above) is required.
Type (ii): Concentrates on more specialised training and credentials in a chosen field.
better skill in the Japanese language is necessary (JLPT N3 or higher).
You must have a sponsoring employer in Japan for both types.
