A Remote Graphic Design and Visual Communications Intern is Needed by UNDP New York.
In order to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), collaborative action is integrated by UNDP, the knowledge frontier organization for sustainable development. It makes investments to bolster its Strategic Plan through its Global Policy Network (GPN). In addition to developing policies and offering technical assistance, the Bureau for Policy and Program Support (BPPS) also represents UNDP in forums with multiple stakeholders.
The UNDP's 2022–2025 Strategic Plan places a strong emphasis on ending poverty and assisting nations in achieving the SDGs and the Paris Agreement. In order to decrease poverty, improve livelihoods, lessen conflict, and foster resilience, the Bureau for Policy and Program Support's Nature, Climate Change, Energy, and Waste (NCE&W) Hubs support integrated governance strategies and nature-based solutions. To incorporate these issues into national planning and policy, they collaborate with partners in the public, private, and civil society sectors.
The Specialist will produce visual content for the Sustainable Energy Hub's social media platforms, work with others on online campaigns and content, suggest and update website designs, create visually appealing digital products, assist with campaign ideation and conceptualization, improve presentation and document templates, support the Sustainable Energy Academy's Visual Design Studio, test out new visual techniques, take part in SEH communications task forces, and offer general communications support.
