UNOPS rules and associated documentation serve as the basis for educating staff members on how to collaborate effectively in order to meet the needs of our partners and beneficiaries.

A new legislative framework is being adopted by UNOPS, and all UNOPS policies are being made more concise. In order to provide thorough and useful guidance for all UNOPS employees, this project will improve the legal framework, cater to the changing demands of the organization's thousands of employees, and take into account industry advancements and contemporary best practices.

In order to improve its operational effectiveness, UNOPS is also starting a Process Innovation and Digitalization journey. This will involve reorganizing processes and utilizing digital technologies and solutions in all departmental areas.

In cooperation with UNOPS Practices and other Units, the role seeks to develop concise, straightforward policies based on principles. The advisor for policy drafting will set a standard, thoroughly examine the policies in place, and suggest adjustments as needed. There is a chance for an extension during the post's two-year term. Along with working with the Process Innovation and Digitalization Program and creating an alphabetical subject index, the Policy Drafting Specialist will also help with any related tasks that the Senior Legal Advisor assigns.
