Applications are currently open for the 2024 positions of HEY Regional Focal Points and HEY Ambassadors. The HEY Campaign is seeking individuals to serve as Regional Focal Points, representing specific regions worldwide such as Africa, Europe, North America, The Caribbean, Latin America, and Asia. Each appointment will span three months per cohort, with Cohort 1 covering North America, The Caribbean & Latin America from April to June 2023, and Cohort 2 covering Africa, Asia & Europe from July to August 2023.

Regional Focal Points will collaborate closely with the HEY Campaign Assistant Coordinator and the Ashley Lashley Foundation Executive Team. Their responsibilities include overseeing all Ambassadors in the HEY Campaign Country Networks within their respective regions and supporting the ALF Executive Team in the selection process for Country Ambassadors.

Requirements for Regional Focal Points include proficiency in English, age between 16 to 27 years old, availability for weekly capacity-building sessions, participation in HEY monthly meetings, and mandatory attendance at orientation training.

Additionally, the HEY Ambassadors Program is introducing the HEY Country Network, welcoming a minimum of four Ambassadors per country to collaborate on projects related to climate change, human health, sustainable development goals, and conservation. Ambassadors will undergo a six-week capacity-building program covering various topics and will work within their country networks to implement projects.
