14 projects will be chosen, each with a budget ranging from €50,000 to €100,000, for a two to three-year working period.
Eligibility Criteria
The Water and Development Partnership Programme aims to strengthen the water sector in non-European, low- and middle-income countries by engaging various organizations involved in managing water.
These organizations may include water utilities, river basin organizations, irrigation boards, water-dependent industries, government agencies, NGOs, CSOs, and universities.
The programme also welcomes new organizations and encourages collaborations with organizations and disciplines that have been less involved in mainstream collaborative projects on water. It also focuses on early-career staff members, particularly female staff, to redress gender imbalances in the water sector.
The programme aims to contribute to less masculine and more inclusive working cultures within water sector organizations and to invigorate new approaches, insights, and solutions. The program also encourages the involvement of early-career female staff members to contribute to less masculine and more inclusive working cultures within water sector organizations.
